GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices): Mandatory certification for any manufacturing establishment (including packaging) of medicinal products, homoeopathic, phytotherapeutic or Medicinal Gases, intended to be marketed in Colombia. In the event of cosmetic products, GMP is not mandatory.
GCP (Good Compounding Practices): Mandatory certification for Health Institution (e.g. IPS) or companies developing production operations, transformations, preparations, mixtures, packaging and adjusted dose, and medicinal products re-filling and re- packing.
Makes part of the mandatory requirements of Pharmaceutical Services in Colombia

GCP (Good Clinical Practices): It is a quality international standard of design, conduction, performance, monitoring, audit, registration, analysis and report of clinical studies the development of which involves the participation of human beings. Mandatory Certification to conduct investigational studies in Colombia.
Accreditation Certification in Health: Certification issued by the Secretary of Health to the providers of healthcare, in order to approve their services.
Sanitary Concept: Mandatory Certification issued by the Secretary of Health for the purpose to accredit the compliance with the sanitary standards and sanitation conditions of commercial establishments handling foods.
CPC: (Cosmetic Production Capacity Certification): issued by INVIMA to manufacture cosmetics and home hygiene products.
BPM (Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura): Certificación obligatoria para cualquier establecimiento que realice fabricación (incluyendo acondicionamiento) de medicamentos, homeopáticos, fitoterapéuticos o Gases Medicinales, que pretenda comercializarlos en Colombia. En el caso de productos cosméticos, BPM no es obligatoria.
BPE (Buenas Prácticas de Elaboración): Certificación obligatoria para Instituciones (ej. IPS) o establecimientos que realicen operaciones de elaboración, transformación, preparaciones, mezclas, adecuación y ajuste de concentraciones de dosis, y reenvase y reempaque de medicamentos. Hace parte de requisitos obligatorios de los Servicios Farmacéuticos en Colombia.
BPC (Buenas Prácticas Clínicas): Es un estándar internacional de calidad para el diseño, conducción, realización, monitoreo, auditoría, registro, análisis y reporte de estudios clínicos que involucran para su desarrollo la participación de seres humanos. Certificación obligatoria para adelantar estudios de investigación en Colombia.
